Owing to the coming Christmas, people were busy with parties and had not time to watch TV, so last Friday night was quit cold and cheerless for those TV networks.
NBC kept its regular program arrangement. Under the circumstance of the absence of all competitors, TV rating of “Chuck” (3.69 million, 1) broadcasted at 8 increased 11% after two weeks’ suspension. Even so, “Chuck” still ranked the bottom fifth among all those 14 programs broadcasted at the same period of time. TV rating of “Grimm” broadcasted at 9 still stayed high.
CBS arranged classic Christmas cartoon night on Friday. “Frosty the Snowman” (7.34 million, 1.9) ranks the top in TV ratings. “Frosty Returns” (6.41 million, 1.6) also performed well. And the cartoon broadcasted at 9 was “Yes, Virginia” (5.4 million, 1.4) adapted by a famous true story happened in the late 19th century. And “Elf on the Shelf” broadcasted at 9:30 attracted 5.25 million viewers for the first time enjoying a TV rating of 1.4.
Reality show “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” (4.9 million, 1.2) of ABC stayed the same comparing with that of last week.
Fox and CW replayed all its programs
“Sanctuary” (1.51 million, 0.4) of Syfy perform not very well.
