The HBO drama The Wire was one of the best, but also usually the most underrated series in TV history. If you always wanted to know whether the crime series would work well as a musical, has now, thanks to Funny or the chance to do so.

"The Wire" goes "Glee": The original cast from the acclaimed HBO crime series are back in Baltimore - or in the fictional player theater. In a video for Funny or Die celebrate the former star of the series Reunion and prove that the dark drama would have a little more music and some jazz-hands may be convinced as family-series and more viewers.

Michael K. Williams as Omar, Sonja Sohn as Kima, Andre Royo as Bubbles, Felicia Pearson as Snoop and Larry Gilliard Jr. as D'Angelo as their best musical actor. Idris Elba as Stringer Bell in his role is not to see, but Faizon Loves musical interpretation of the drug lord is impressive as well.
