Vampire movies and books are all the rage these days, but this vampire is now used in cosmetic surgery. Dr. Adil Ceydeli Institute of Plastic Surgery and Spa in Lynn Haven leads the process of revitalization True Blood in his office. True Blood uses a patient's blood to revitalize the skin.
"We separate PRP or platelet-rich plasma from whole blood and PRP component has many growth factors and stem cell markers in it, " said Dr. Ceydeli.
First, the doctor takes the blood of a patient. The same blood is then in a machine that will provide the PRP separated spins. A numbing gel is applied to the skin and small needles are used to inject blood into the patient's face.
The entire process takes less than an hour. Dr. Ceydeli said patient a gradual improvement in a few weeks will see up to several months. He often uses this method in conjunction with laser treatments. Some bruising can be expected right after the treatment true blood.
